Fotis Dulos Objects To Mother-In-Law Poring Over Finances

Attorneys for Fotis Dulos said it is an "extreme burden" to provide business finances in Gloria Farber's lawsuit over lack of payments.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Attorneys for Fotis Dulos, the estranged and accused husband of missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Farber Dulos, argued in a court filing Monday that providing business finances in a civil lawsuit would be an "extreme burden."

Gloria Farber, Jennifer Dulos' mother, is suing her son-in-law over millions of dollars in back payments for loans to help his luxury home building business, and her attorneys were seeking a forensic audit of his finances for the case. The civil lawsuit is expected to go to trial later this year.

finances of Fore Group, Inc. through subpoena and production, and in his deposition, Defendant
Dulos has accounted for each and every business expense questioned by the plaintiff’s counsel,
and there has been and can be no showing that Defendant Dulos did anything inappropriate with
respect to the business expenses at issue," the motion states.

Monday's filing is the latest in what has become an increasingly contentious legal track for Fotis Dulos and Farber, who are fighting on two fronts, the civil case and a child custody battle.

Jennifer Dulos, who has been missing since May 24, and Fotis Dulos were in the midst of a bitter divorce at the time of her disappearance. Farber has since obtained temporary custody of the five Dulos children, and she is seeking sole custody.
