Jennifer Dulos' Killer Still At Large, Says Fotis Dulos' Family
In a statement after her brother's death, Fotis Dulos' sister writes that the State should "recalibrate their investigation" in the case.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The family of Fotis Dulos, who even in death remains at the center of the disappearance and murder of Jennifer Farber Dulos, is hoping to recast the tragedy in a statement that argues that Fotis also was a victim in the case.
Fotis Dulos died last week, two days after he tried to kill himself and more than eight months after his Jennifer Dulos, his estranged wife, disappeared. Authorities believe she was murdered by Fotis, but her body has never been found.
In the statement obtained by News 12 Connecticut, Fotis Dulos' sister, Rena Kyrimi writes that her brother was a "loving man much loved by those who actually knew him." But he and the Dulos family were relentlessly "pursued and harassed" by prosecutors and law enforcement to the point that it drove Fotis to suicide, she says.

"We feel devastated that a man, only 52 years of age, found himself in a dead-end where he saw taking his own life as the only way to be granted peace," she wrote. "We are enraged with the Media that used him to make sensationalistic headlines, thus manipulating public opinion; the Media abandoned the presumption of innocence, seeming heedless of the effect its reporting would have on the children in this case. We are shocked at how Law Enforcement obsessively focused with speculation and circumstantial evidence on an innocent man and turned their back on finding the real perpetrator of this tragedy, who is now at large, still a threat to public safety. Words are not enough to describe our thoughts, emotions, and sorrow."
In the statement, the Dulos family says Fotis' remains will be flown back to his native country, Greece, for burial, out of concerns that his grave would be desecrated in Farmington.

Fotis Dulos' defense attorney, Norm Pattis, is seeking to continue with the murder trial involving his client in an effort to clear his name. That motion is expected to be argued in Stamford Superior Court on Friday.
Also on Friday, Dulos' ex-girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, is scheduled to appear in court and will likely plead not guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
The other defendant in the case, attorney and friend Kent Mawhinney, also was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and is next scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 20. Troconis is free on bond, but Mawhinney remains in custody.
Fotis Dulos suffered severe carbon monoxide poisoning last week when he attempted suicide in the garage of his Farmington home, on the day he was scheduled to appear in court on an emergency bond hearing. He died two days later.
Following his death, a caretaker at the Farmington home, Rob Giuffria of Tea Leaf Realty, reportedly released photos of the scene and allowed access to the house to some members of the press, according to Fox61.
Attorneys for Dulos' estate have filed a motion to have Giuffria replaced, writes the Stamford Advocate.
