Man Claims He Found Knife In Hartford Near Dulos Search: Report
The Hartford man also found a bloody pillow in the garbage on Albany Avenue, which may be linked to missing mom Jennifer Farber Dulos.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man claims he found a knife and a bloody pillow in a garbage can on Albany Avenue in Hartford sometime in the days following the disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos, and he has been interviewed by state police about it, writes the Hartford Courant.
The man, a recently released prison convict who was not identified by the publication, said he put the pillow back in the trash but took the knife and traded it to another man - nicknamed "Fudge" - for crack cocaine.
Where the knife is now, and the status of that part of the investigation, is not known. State police reportedly have surveillance video of the man taking something out of the garbage, and he has provided authorities with a statement.

New Canaan resident Jennifer Dulos disappeared on May 24, and her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, was arrested a week later in connection with the disappearance. Also arrested was his now ex-girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, and both were charged with evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution.
In the days after the disappearance, state police searched Albany Avenue in Hartford and found several items that Fotis Dulos and Troconis are accused of discarding; some of the items have tested positive for Jennifer Dulos' blood.

Whether the bloody pillow is one of the items that state police recovered is now known.
The Duloses were in the midst of a contentious divorce and child custody battle at the time of her disappearance. A court has awarded temporary custody of their five children to Jennifer Dulos' mother, Gloria Farber, and Farber is now seeking sole custody.
On Friday, Fotis Dulos' attorney, Norm Pattis, told the Courant that the story of the knife's discovery was "bizarre."
