NEW CANAAN, CT — The next scheduled court hearing for Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos, has been postponed.

According to the state Judicial Branch website, the pre-trial hearing originally scheduled for Aug. 2 has been moved to Aug. 9, but it will still take place at Stamford Superior Court. The reason for the postponement is because of a scheduling conflict involving Norm Pattis, Fotis Dulos' attorney, who reportedly has another trial that day.

Fotis Dulos, and his ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis, have been charged with evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution in connection with Jennifer Dulos' disappearance on May 24. Troconis is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19.

Authorities accuse the two of discarding items - some of which were stained with Jennifer Dulos' blood - in the Hartford area soon after the disappearance. Police also say that there were signs of a violent attack in the garage at Jennifer Dulos' New Canaan home, and what also appeared to be attempts to clean up the scene.

In a related development on Tuesday, Gloria Farber, Jennifer Dulos' mother, filed a motion to obtain sole custody of the five Dulos children.
