A town councilman said the town should consider the policy as it debates a $17.1 million Saxe Middle School project.

A New Canaan town councilman has called into question the policy of allowing New Canaan Public School teachers to enroll their non-resident children in the school system.
There are currently 51 children in that position, the majority of which are in kindergarten through third grade.
Councilman Roger Williams called the policy into question as the town considers a $17.1 million project at Saxe Middle School.
