• Community gathers to celebrate New Haven Pride (wtnh.com) — Downtown New Haven filled with color and music Saturday as New Haven Pride took over Crown and Orange streets, spotlighting the city's LGBTQ+ community. Drag performers, live music, yoga, and local organizations gathered to celebrate, raise awareness for the New Haven Pride Center, and reaffirm a commitment to mutual support and visibility.
• New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade hosts whiskey and cigar fundraiser (wtnh.com) — A regional Irish-American fundraiser in East Haven is already helping bankroll the Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade planned for March. Neighbors sampled whiskeys and cigars at the Irish-American Community Center, with proceeds supporting parade costs like units and logistics that New Haven-area residents enjoy every year.
• Lawmakers weigh in on North Haven Amazon drone proposal (wtnh.com) — Amazon's plan for delivery drones from its North Haven warehouse is on hold while state regulators and local lawmakers, including a New Haven-area representative, review environmental and noise concerns. Residents will get public meetings to question Amazon before any approval, and DEEP has extended its decision deadline on the application.
