Car Stolen With 2 Kids Inside; Children Found Safe In New Haven

A mother went to pick up a child Wednesday afternoon, and when she returned to her car, it was gone.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A car was stolen Wednesday with two children inside, according to FOX61. A mother went to pick up a child at Roberto Clemente school, 360 Columbus Ave., New Haven, FOX61 reported. She left two kids in her parked car, and when she returned to where she had parked, the car was gone, according to FOX 61.

The children, a 5-year-old and a baby, were removed from the car and found safe in the area of Rice Field, according to NBC Connecticut. The suspect, a man in a grey hoodie, and the car, a grey Mercedes SUV, are still missing, NBC Connecticut reported.
