Accused Car Burglar Now Has $310K on Bonds After Skipping Court: Cops

He was picked up by bail agents.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 20-year-old from Newington already charged for a number of vehicle burglaries in Glastonbury was picked up by bond enforcement agents for skipping out on court dates, police said.

Rodolfo Rodriguez had first- and second-degree failure to appear charges levied on him along with a probation violation, police said.

FTA Bonds totaled $310,000, police said.

The car burglaries took place in March, according to judicial system records.

According to court records, Rodriguez is facing a single count of second-degree burglary, 16 counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of credit card theft, one count of fifth-degree larceny, nine counts of sixth-degree larceny and five counts of attempted sixth-degree larceny.
