• Newington Zoning Commission To Hear Maple Hill Lot, Culver Street Sign Applications (patch.com) — Newington residents will see several local land-use issues come before the Town Plan and Zoning Commission on Wednesday, Sept. 9, including an interior lot proposal on Maple Hill Avenue and a new sign for Culver Street Apartments. The commission will also hear an update on citizen concerns about a proposed Newington Housing Authority development on Mill Street, with both in-person and Zoom access available.
