Newington Man Charged for July Car Crimes in Glastonbury

The accused is still in custody.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Newington man is in custody after being arrested for several vehicle thefts and burglaries in Glastonbury, police said.

The incidents involving 30-year-old Daniel Strozynski took place on July 9, according to an arrest report.

He was arrested on a warrant, initially held on a $50,000 bond and appeared in court on Aug. 25, police and judicial system records indicate. The bond was cut in half, but he was unable to post and is due back in court on Sept. 20, according to court records.

Strozynski, who lives on Stoddard Avenue in Newington, has been charged with seven counts of third-degree burglary, six counts of sixth-degree larceny and single counts of third-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny, according to an arrest report.

He has also been charged with credit card theft, according to an arrest report.
