• Suspect killed, 2 officers shot after pursuit ends in Newington (news12.com) — A late-night police pursuit that began in Hartford ended in Newington with a shootout that left the suspect dead and two officers from Hartford and Rocky Hill wounded but in stable condition. Authorities say the chase started after an officer confronted a fleeing suspect, who later exchanged gunfire with police when his vehicle was stopped on Webster Court.
