Remember how President Obama said in his 2010 State of the Union Address that the Supreme Court's "Citizens United" decision. "... will open the floodgates for special interests -- including foreign corporations -- to spend without limit in our elections"? (Well, it doesn't.)
But when it comes to the 2012 elections, what is troubling is how easily foreigners can sneak funds into the US presidential campaign. The FEC does not require basic security for Internet donations. And in the case of the Obama campaign the gate appears to be wide open.
