Cause of New London Homicide Victim’s Death Revealed by Chief Medical Examiner

The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner finished the autopsy this week.

NEW LONDON, CT - New London homicide victim Marlon Beasley, 38, died of head trauma and facial fractures, The Day reported.

The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Wednesday that homicide was found to be the manner of death, according to The Day. The autopsy was finished on Tuesday.

The victim died Monday after his family removed him from life support after being told he had no brain activity, The Day reported. The suspected attacker, Edgar “Panama” Sanchez-Valencia, was arraigned in court Tuesday.
