Eastern CT Regional Innovation Center Hires Community Manager

NEW LONDON, CT – The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Zhang as Community Manager of the Regional Innovation Center. Kevin has an extensive background in business management and marketing. His primary responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Chamber’s innovation and coworking center as well as supporting economic development efforts for the region.

Kevin brings two decades of combined experience in sales, marketing and business management and has a successful record of delivering impactful results. During his most recent role at a Germany-based metrology technology company, he spearheaded comprehensive digital and traditional marketing campaigns, generating exceptional engagement rates. Concurrently, as a Professional Digital Marketer, he authored and marketed a guidebook on model building, orchestrating successful international marketing campaigns through social media, email, and community engagement.

In his previous role as a Relationship Marketing Executive at Mohegan Sun Casino, Kevin managed a substantial client portfolio, consistently surpassing sales targets, and fostering lucrative partnerships, contributing to the casino's revenue growth. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills in account management, digital marketing, and relationship building, positioning himself as a versatile and results-driven professional in the field of business development.
