Corporate Donation Brings New London Museum Closer to Fundraising Goal.

The National Coast Guard Museum Association, Inc. is excited to announce that Eastern Shipbuilding, a diversified ship builder headquartered in Panama City, Florida, has become a corporate sponsor of the National Coast Guard Museum to be built in New London, Connecticut, donating $250,000 to support the building of this first and only national museum honoring the achievements of U.S. Coast Guard men and women.

“Eastern Shipbuilding is pleased to be able to support the construction of this unique Coast Guard Museum. It is important to recognize the remarkable achievements of the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard and to demonstrate the Coast Guard’s expansive role and mission. The National Coast Guard Museum will provide a lasting tribute to over 200 years of Coast Guard history, as well as provide an exciting outlook into the Coast Guard’s future,” stated Brian R. D’Isernia, Founder, Owner & President of Eastern Shipbuilding.

“Thanks to the generosity of Eastern Shipbuilding, Inc., and others throughout the nation, the Coast Guard men and women will be honored and have a permanent place in history,” said John S. Johnson, Treasurer of the National Coast Guard Museum Association, Inc.
