Crane Falls At Bank Street Construction Site, No Injures
New London firefighters worked a construction accident on Bank near Howard Street this morning. Police said a crane fell. No one was hurt.

NEW LONDON, CT — Fire department officials reported emergency crews were on the scene of a construction accident at around 8:30 this morning. Police later confirmed that emergency services personnel were called to the area of 500 Bank St., for a "construction crane which had turned over."
The crane operator was not hurt nor were any others on the job site, police said.
A portion of Howard Street was closed, but has since been re-opened. There's an active investigation, police said.
