Animal Doll-making Workshop with Margarita Maxson

**TWO Part Workshop / Two CONSECUTIVE Sundays**

Join our BEGINNER doll making class at Pinc! boutique this Fall!  Margarita will teach you how to make folk art Dog & Cat dolls. Pre sewn muslin bodies will be provided.

Class will begin by stuffing & closing all parts of the body. In this class you will learn:
-Different hand stitches for closing, attaching, & needle sculpting stuffed pieces
-Preparing the body with gesso for painting
-Painting the cat using acrylic paints. Includes an introduction to head & body proportions, how to paint a face, and finishing 

Margarita will supply ALL MATERIALS to be used in class:
Pattern for doll, 1/2 yard of muslin, polyfill to stuff, acrylic paints, non-toxic matte varnish, gesso, thread, needles, buttons, scissors, printed fabric for accessories and assorted paintbrushes.
