The exile, diaspora and displacement have been recurring themes in my art projects but also as individual memories and defense mechanism to uprooting.
The people who self exile themselfes definitely,  move perhaps pressured by external stress or to escape their own ghosts or simply looking for a better life, a new homeland, without renouncing even of their origins.

Not surprisingly migrants go with their  country-and existence- in their backs creating a new territoriality. The exodus and many times to never ever reach has become a crossroads of identities, not only in the physical or material  way, but especially in the existential. What interests me is to establish that everyone carries implicitly the desire for happiness and living well.

New London, Connecticut, is a meeting point, is strategic crossroads between two giants like New York and Boston. But it is also true that it is a place with its own history and characteristics of multiculturalism. I addressed this situation from the painting point, not wanting to tell stories, I seek to evoke and create mental scenarios based on color and texture that have finally become real landscape in motion…
