Touring since 1986 throughout the United States and Europe, New England-based 18-member Childsplay features violin and fiddle virtuosos ranging from members of the Boston Symphony to all-Ireland and national Scottish fiddle champions performing traditional and contemporary fiddle music, song and step-dancing. Their playful, innovative and driving sounds take fiddle music into new realms of virtuosity and exuberance.
