New London Public Schools' annual Hope Week Parade will be held on Saturday, May 21. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Williams Park. A christening of the Whale's Tale Fountain will be at noon. There will be student performances in the parade plaza from noon to 2 p.m. The third annual Chowda' Fest and Silent Auction to celebrate National Maritime Day will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. outdoors, under the Custom House tent.
