Judy Dworin's Performance Project presents the dance/theater piece In This House based on a true story of New London's historic Hempstead House, its owner Joshua Hempstead and his enslaved African American resident, Adam Jackson. Through dance, song and multimedia In This House moves through three centuries and subsequent generations of Hempsteads who evolve from slave owners to passionate abolitionists.
