Kris Dunn Is Conn. Gatorade Player Of The Year

Kris Dunn of has been named the 2011-12 Gatorade Connecticut Boys Basketball Player of the Year, ESPN Boston reported.

According to the article, is the No. 24 recruit for his class and has agreed to play basketball at Providence College in the fall.

“Kris Dunn has been a pleasure to coach during his four years as a varsity starter,” head coach Craig Parker told ESPN. “He works extremely hard in the classroom and his passion for basketball is unsurpassed by anyone I’ve known in my 25 years of coaching.”

Allan Chaney of NLHS won the award in 2008, making Dunn the second winner out of New London, ESPN reported.
