Maple the Cat Needs a Home
This sweet girl came to New London Animal Control very weak and emaciated. She has now recovered and is in need of a home.
Three weeks ago, Maple the cat came to New London Animal Control in a state of emaciation.
“She weighed just over four pounds, and was so weak she could barely eat,” New London Animal Control shared via Facebook. “Here we are nearly three weeks later, and she’s doing great! She has gained weight and muscle, is eating like a horse, and has pretty much recovered fully from the awful upper respiratory infection she had.”
Maple is friendly and loves to be cuddled and petted. Her age is estimated at nine or 10 years and she has a great deal of energy and still likes to play a bit.

“She has been very good about using her litter box, and seems OK with other kitties, but she hasn’t been thrilled with the dogs,” Animal Control said. “If you would like to give this poor girl a place to finish recovering and become the amazing lap cat she is destined to be, please contact New London Animal Control at 860-447-5231.”
