NEW LONDON, CT — The city will host a Community Needs Assessment Summary next week. The recreation department recently collaborated with over 20 community organizations to hear what type of programming the community would like to see offered at the new New London Community Recreation Center.

The results of the Community Needs Assessment are being used to create a wellness hub program plan, according to a statement from the city.

"Join us for a public presentation which will include the original intention of the focus groups, the demographics of who participated to support that we got the engagement we were hoping for, and the types of programs that the community is requesting at the new community center and wellness hub," the city wrote.
