Stabbing Details Emerge; Police ID Potential Second Victim
An arrest was made in the alleged stabbing case at Red Roof Inn in New London, according to police.

New London Police received a complaint that a woman was running down Colman Street, crying and bleeding, at 9:27 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10.
Police located the victim, a 28-year-old female, who told police she was held against her will for several hours at Red Roof Inn and repeatedly struck with an object, then stabbed, according to New London Police Deputy Chief Peter Reichard. Red Roof Inn is located at 707 Colman St., New London.
According to police, the victim’s wounds are not life-threatening.

The victim gave police a description of the suspect and vehicle. An intensive search led police to the area of Boulder Drive in New London, where the vehicle was located.
Police arrested 49-year-old Dennis Parrish at his residence. He was charged with unlawful restraint and in the first degree and assault in the second degree. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing and Reichard said police identified a second woman who may be an alleged victim of Parrish.
