• Route 7 traffic, air pollution under microscope in company's plan for New Milford concrete plant (newstimes.com) — A proposed concrete mixing plant on Route 7 in New Milford is under review for its air-quality controls and traffic impacts before it can move forward. The company says dust and emissions will be tightly controlled and traffic increases minimal, but the town's Zoning Commission still must hold a public hearing and decide whether the project fits local health, safety, and corridor development goals.
