• New Milford Library Board Approves Endowment Policy Changes, Dec. 26 Closure (patch.com) — New Milford residents will see the public library closed on Saturday, Dec. 26, after trustees approved 2026 holiday hours and updated their endowment spending policy. The board also discussed a state-supported laptop loan program, ongoing humidity and equipment issues in the building, and adjusted its 2027 meeting schedule to avoid conflicts with Passover. Friends of the Library are preparing for a November book sale while the board continues reviewing its social media policy.
