College students come together to send support to the Sandy Hook community
College students from different schools have collaborated to bring messages of support from all over to those affected by the tragedy at Sandy Hook. supportsandyhook.yolasite.com
After the tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary school, a few students from various colleges in the North East decided to work together to put together a support campaign for the victims’ families and friends.
Together we created a letter writing campaign in hopes of being able to send thoughts and prayers to the Sandy Hook community during this difficult time. We ask for your support in sharing our site so the community can see all those who are there for them in their time of need. Currently the letters are being posted on the site but we are looking for a way to get them sent directly to the community as well.
If you would like to you may also submit a letter in honor of your neighbor's. Letters do not have to be long and can be sent anonymously if you wish. Our goal was to show the Sandy Hook community just how many people care about them and are thinking of them.
