Newtown Hope

A senseless act we all now know,

it hits so hard and shakes our soul;

Nowhere to turn for those left behind

except to God and his son Jesus Christ,

in them you must bind.

Yes in these dark days there is hope, an expectation, a confidence that a rock shall appear,

a rock for those moms and dads, brothers and sisters, grandmas and grandpas and entire towns,

and in that rock there is no fear.

Yes a hope that is without fear,

and somehow creates a rest for those of you we now hold so dear.

You are not alone, in a small way we share your pain,

and pray for you as that is what hope has us do.
