Key Questions Arise as Sandy Hook Panel Report Release Nears

Members of the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission are grappling with some tough questions as their work draws to an end with the anticipated release of a report in February.

They had to ponder on whether Nancy Lanza, shooter Adam Lanza’s mother will count as the 27th victim, whether to use Lanza’s full name or just initials and how detailed of an account they want to give regarding the day, according to the Hartford Courant.

After a 20-minute discussion the panel decided to dedicate the report to the 20 children and six adults murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School, according to the Connecticut Post.

The commission has one meeting left before the report is due to be released. It will tackle issues such as mental health and firearm control measures.
