Newtown Marching Band Will Perform in 'Quest for the Best' Saturday, Sept. 6
Marching band and color guard exhibition to feature five area bands and color guards.
The Newtown High School Marching Band and Color Guard will perform at one of the biggest shows of the season on Saturday, Sept. 6. “Quest for the Best” is a performance and competition of area marching bands and color guards.
This event is being hosted by the Bethel High School marching band and color guard. Come see award winning marching bands from around Connecticut perform incredible music and dance.
Since Bethel is the host, they will play an exhibition (non-competition) performance. Three local bands will also perform at this Musical Arts Competition (MAC) showcase. In the past, over a dozen bands have competed, however, this year will be an evaluation show with no scores or placements announced.
