Reed Intermediate School Drama Club presents "Annie Jr."

The challenge of rehearsing this past winter did not dampen the spirits of the many talented fifth and sixth graders at Reed Intermediate School. Even with time lost because of snowy school cancellations, the cast is strong and motivated to deliver a spirited performance! On May 8th and 9th the drama club, directed by Sharon Vetrano and co- directed by Kristen Strobel will present “Annie Jr.” the story of Little Orphan Annie and her journey to find her birth parents with the help of Oliver Warbucks and his assistant Grace Ferrell. With a brilliant cast of characters, upbeat songs and creative dance routines, the streets of NYC, come alive and bring us back to the year 1933 when President Franklin D Roosevelt was in office and believed that people must be optimistic during tough times.
