Connecticut Public Television Reportedly Eyes Norwalk for New Production Facility

The broadcast operation would join several other media companies that call Fairfield County home.

NORWALK, CT — Connecticut Public Television, which already has a production facility in Hartford, is looking at expanding into a Norwalk location on Wall Street near the renovated Wall Street Theater.

The Hour reports that CPTV officials have filed paperwork with the city to take over the former Fairfield County Bank building at 67-69 Wall St.

Converting the 15,000-square-foot space could cost at least $7.5 million, with CPTV borrowing a large portion of the money and receiving state bonding funds for some of it.
