Please join us this Sunday, October 23rd, for a Norwalk Harbor Loop Walk
The Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) and the Norwalk Harbor Loop Trail are co-sponsoring a walk on the Harbor Loop Trail at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23. The walk will be approximately four miles long and will follow existing trails, including portions of the NRVT, and sidewalks where the Trail is not yet complete. Meeting place: Mathews Park (295 West Avenue, Norwalk, Connecticut) parking lot near the tennis courts. This trail contains many historic secrets of Norwalk as well as beautiful river views. Come discover Norwalk's prettiest little known trail (the path behind the Avalon condominiums), the former city jail, and the witch weathervane on Wall Street. Please R.S.V.P. to Deborah Lewis, the walk co-leader, at deborahlewis@optonline.net. Mike Mushak, the organizer of the Harbor Loop, will be co-leading with Deborah. More information on the Norwalk Harbor Loop Trail is can be found on the Loop's Facebook page. This event takes place rain or shine.
