📰 News we're reading
• Norwalk Police Department Introduces New Police Service Kiosk (patch.com) — Norwalk residents now have a new self-service kiosk in the police headquarters lobby on Monroe Street, making it easier to handle many non-emergency needs without waiting for an officer. From getting case numbers for minor incidents to paying parking tickets, requesting reports, scheduling fingerprint appointments, and accessing a city directory in five languages, the system is designed to improve convenience and accessibility for the community.

• Seal of Approval: Injured Gray Seal Finds a Permanent Home in Connecticut (noaa.gov) — A gray seal named Pearl, deemed unable to survive in the wild, has found a permanent home at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, where she's already on exhibit with other seals. Her long rescue journey through Rhode Island and New York led to specialized care and ultimately to Norwalk, where she'll serve as an ambassador for gray seals and Long Island Sound's ecosystem.
