Former Day Care Owner — Mayor's Daughter — Faces Charges: Report

Christine Limone previously owned a day care facility in Norwalk where a child died in 2016. She is the daughter of Mayor Harry Rilling.

NORWALK, CT — Christine Limone, daughter of Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, has been charged with five felony counts of risk of injury to a minor in connection with her former day care facility where a child died in 2016, writes the Norwalk Hour.

Limone surrendered to state police last week and was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 22. Details from the arrest warrant were not available because its contents currently are sealed by the court.

The 4-month-old child, named Corinne Magda, was found dead at Limone's home-based day care facility on Oct. 5, 2016, at which point an investigation was launched. The Office of the State Medical Examiner said the child died of "sudden unexpected infant death" while sleeping.
