Norwich's Finances Fall Short In 2017-18: Report

The city ended the most recent fiscal year in the red.

NORWICH, CT — Norwich ended the 2017-18 fiscal year with a deficit of more than half-a-million dollars, due to increases in spending and shortfalls in revenue, reports The Day.

Several departments were able to save money last year, and those funds are slated to be used to help address the shortfall.
