• Oxford Looks To Fix Problems With Aging Radio System (patch.com) — Oxford officials are weighing upgrades to the town's aging emergency radio system after fire leaders reported intermittent communication problems. Proposed changes include moving radio links to fiber and improving receiver sites, plus better integration with the Oxford Center Fire Station and the regional dispatch center so faulty sites can be disabled remotely. Funding details and a project timeline have not yet been announced.
