Beck Out as Ridgefield Assistant Schools Superintendent
Like Superintendent Karen Baldwin, Assistant Superintendent Kimberly Beck's last day will be June 30.

RIDGEFIELD, CT —Ridgefield schools will be out a superintendent, a business manager, and now the assistant schools superintendent as Kimberly Beck has announced her resignation, effective June 30.
Outgoing superintendent Karen Baldwin, who tendered her resignation following a plagiarism scandal, is on board until the end of June. Business manager Paul Hendrickson retired in January. An interim manager has been running the department since Hendrickson's exit.
Acting Superintendent Robert Miller said the district will create a search committee to find Beck's replacement. Such a committee is already in place and on the hunt searching for superintendent candidates. Miller is scheduled to hold his current role until June 30 when he will turn the reins over to an interim superintendent, yet to be named.
Beck is leaving Ridgefield schools to become head of Georgetown Lower Day School in Washington, D.C.
