The RHHS Royal Blues Marching Bands 16th Annual Home Show - Sept 27, 2014
The Royal Blues Proudly Present their 2014 show "THE SOHEI"
The RHHS Royal Blues Marching Band will host their 16th annual Home Show on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at McVicar Field located at 50 Chapin Ave, Rocky Hill, CT. The 2014 Invitational is titled “The Sohei”, featuring “Gloriosa” by Yasuhide Ito and “Marimba Spiritual” by Minoru Miki.
The Royal Blues Marching Band is under the direction of James Shuman. Gates will open at 12:00 p.m. and the first band will take the field at 1:00 p.m. General admission is $10 and $5 for senior citizens and students.
The Royal Blues Marching Band is led by Drum Major, Haleigh Oeser. The Band Section Leaders are: Jackie Aylward, Brass; George Enriquez, Percussion; Jaycee O’Dierna, Color guard; James Rolfe, Woodwinds; The Band Captains are Emily Pentland, and Deivydas Giedrimas. This year’s Principal Players are Patricia Czarnecki & Emily Pentland.

Jaycee O’Dierna, Hannah Oeser & James Rolfe
The Royal Blues will also perform their show “The Sohei” in competition on October 4th at Lyman Hall High School’s Home Show, and October 18th at Rockville High School’s Home Show. In addition to these performances the Royal Blues will also compete at the USBands New England State Championship in New Britain, CT on October 25th.
