Additional Witnesses Sought In Fatal Crash Investigation: Derby Police
Derby police are seeking additional witnesses in their investigation of a crash in town last month in which a woman was killed.

DERBY, CT — Derby police are seeking additional witnesses in their investigation of a crash in town last month in which a Waterford woman was killed.
The New Haven Register reported Robin Slane, 55, of Waterford, was killed on Sept. 8 when the Dodge Grand Caravan she was driving was hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling in the opposite direction in the area of Roosevelt Drive and Cullens Hill Road.
Slane was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep and three passengers in the minivan all suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at a hospital, WTNH News 8 reported.

Police said Friday on Facebook officers have reason to believe a witness or witnesses may have seen one of the vehicles involved in the crash driving erratically moments before the collision.
