Former Cop Sues Three Shelton Officers, Walgreens Employees
A former Bridgeport Police lieutenant claims he was falsely arrested in a lawsuit.
SHELTON, CT — A former Bridgeport Police lieutenant is suing three Shelton cops individually along with two Walgreens employees after he was arrested on charges of impersonating a police officers and breach of peace.
The case was dismissed in July, according to the Shelton Herald.
The lawsuit alleges that Shelton Police officials Richard Bango, Kevin Corda and Brian Iaucone falsely arrested John Brenner and denied him due process.

He claims in the lawsuit that a Walgreens manager falsely accused him of attempting to take items when his credit card was denied.
