• Person Rescued From Vehicle After Rollover Crash In Shelton: FD (patch.com) — Firefighters in Shelton rescued a person trapped in a vehicle after a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon on the 700 block of Bridgeport Avenue. Crews stabilized the car, cut off the roof to reach the sole occupant, and transferred the patient to a trauma center via Echo Hose Ambulance. No additional injuries or road closure details were released.
   

• Shelton man found dead Monday known for coin collecting, coaching and culinary talents (nhregister.com) — Shelton is mourning Christopher Taylor, 73, a longtime resident known for his coin collecting, youth sports coaching, scouting leadership, and culinary skills. Police say he was found dead Monday after a multiagency search, and donations in his memory are being directed to Huntington Fire & Rescue Co. No. 3 in Shelton.
