Shelton Author Writes Book, Launches Kickstarter to End Bullying
Jeannine Marie has three days left to raise the necessary funds to print book about bullying.

Jeannine Marie says she has always had compassion for children. As a young teenager, she worked with the deaf and mentally challenged. As an adult, she mentored children and taught Sunday school. Now she has written a book and launched a Kickstarter campaign to end bullying.
“I moved to Shelton after becoming a single parent to begin the journey of breaking the cycle of abuse, “Jeannine said. “I realized I needed to heal my own past in order to give my daughter a great future. After years of therapy and studying of children’s behavior and needs, I was able to raise an outstanding human being and see first hand that knowledge, love, humor, and determination can move mountains.”
Her daughter will graduate in May with her Masters in psychology from NYU.
