Detectives Follow Leads in Simsbury Murder Case
Detectives are investigating an out of state lead.

Simsbury detectives are following up on out-of-state leads after MassMutual executive Melissa Millan was found stabbed to death in town.
Millan, 54, was jogging in November. A driver discovered her on the side of the road and called police.
Police Chief Peter Ingvertsen told Fox CT that his detectives work the case everyday and that the FBI is helping with the case. A lead outside of the state is being looked at.

Her ex-husband William Hodgin is not a person of interest at this time.

Millian had access to highly sensitive data on bank profits that were classified as trade secrets, according to Wall Street on Parade. Police are looking into it, according to Fox CT. Police didn’t say whether at this time they believe the attack was random or premeditated.
