Are you interested in learning how to use WordPress to create a personal or business website yourself? Or have you tried to create your own website but got overwhelmed and gave up? This four-part course will lead you from installing WordPress and plugins, through selecting and customizing a theme for your website. The final class will be an open question and answer session as you work on your new websites.
This is a great opportunity to learn WordPress from a professional website designer and business consultant. Elizabeth Martinez, owner of LizMSolutions (www.lizmsolutions.com), specializes in helping businesses create and maintain their complete web presence, from websites to social media to business branding.
NOTE: Since this class is progressive, attendees should commit to attending all four class sessions. Before the first class, all participants should acquire their domain (website address) and arrange for web hosting. Space is limited to 10 seats; preregistration is required by calling 860-658-7663 or registering online at www.simsburylibrary.info. No walk-ins.
