Southington Restaurant To Host Benefit Friday For Slain Policemen
Rising country music star Jordan Oaks will help raise money in Southington for the fallen Bristol policemen.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington restaurant Friday night will host a benefit concert from a rising country music star to raise money for the families of the slain Bristol police officers.
Jordan Oaks will be performing at the Cadillac Ranch Restaurant, which is located at 45 Jude Lane, Southington, on Friday, Oct. 28, according to social media posts from the restaurant and the Bristol Police Department.
The event starts at 9 p.m. and Oaks is expected to be on hand until 1 a.m., according to Oaks' website.

Bristol police Sgt. Dustin DeMonte, 35, and Officer Alex Hamzy, 34, were both killed in an Oct. 12 ambush at a Bristol residence, as was the suspect.
Since the tragedy, the community has come together to help the families of the victims, with DeMonte leaving being a wife, two children and a third on the way and Hamzy leaving a wife.

"Come support the Bristol Connecticut Police Department and honor LT. Dustin Demonte and Sgt. Alex Hamzy this Friday, October 28th," reads an announcement for the concert. "Country Singer Jordan Oaks will be performing at the Cadillac Ranch Restaurant to include his song 'He Bleeds Blue.'"
Tickets are $20 each, according to an announcement.
The Cadillac Ranch Restaurant is a popular country music eatery and features country line dancing, karoake and concerts.
