Police: Woman Opened Credit Cards in Boyfriend's Ex-Wife's Name
She allegedly bought more than $8,000 worth of items and services with the card. Southington police made the arrest.

Southington Police arrested a New Britain woman who allegedly took personal information from her boyfriend’s ex-wife and used it to open credit cards and credit lines.
Melissa Cocola, 39, was arrested on April 20. She allegedly used the funds to charge $8,405.23 through three different fraudulent cards.
The alleged activity happened in March.

She was charged with second-degree ID theft, third-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card, receiving goods obtained by illegal use of a credit card and false statement to procure issuance of a credit card.
She was released on a promise to appear.
