Sewer Work Slated For Southington

Sewer work is on tap for Southington.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Town of Southington will continue its sanitary sewer preventative maintenance program utilizing the services of Layne Inliner, LLC of Fairfield, Maine for cleaning and inspecting sanitary sewer lines throughout the town.

If necessary, a cured in place sanitary sewer liner will be installed inside the existing Town sewer pipes. This process will minimize root and water infiltration and allow for a smoother interior surface without the need to excavate the street.

For streets identified for sewer lining (noted as “install” on the monthly schedule), property owners will receive two notices - the first notification one week before and a second the day before the lining work. We encouraged minimal water use during the lining process.
