Southington Robbery Suspect Is Facing New Charges

Surveillance video helped Enfield Police identify the knife-wielding bandit who's now accused of robbing two gas stations in two days.

A Bristol man is facing robbery and larceny charges after surveillance video helped Enfield Police identify the knife-wielding man who robbed the Mobil Mart on King Street last November.

A suspect with a knife threatened an employee before going behind the counter and grabbing cash from the register, according to Chief Carl Sferrazza. The incident occurred about 1:50 a.m. Nov. 22.

Reviewing surveillance video, investigators were able to identify the suspect and apply for an arrest warrant, Sferrazza said.
